Senior Product Manager, Amazon Business EU Marketplace

We are looking for a seasoned product manager with strong analytical skills who will own the EU-wide 3P Bulk strategy and a suite of seller facing products to meet the needs of fast growing Amazon Business customers.

You will own the vision and direction, and drive initiatives for all EU marketplaces. You will directly interact with central tech and non-tech Product/Program teams, WW 3P teams, Customer facing teams of B2B in EU, and local teams in European marketplaces to create and implement new solutions to improve our customer’s experience. You will conceive new features, influence the WW product roadmap, and launch+drive adoption of new features for sellers, continually evaluating opportunities to drive improvement and innovation. This position has regular exposure to upper management and key stakeholders.

This role is based in Luxembourg and will involve frequent travel to Seattle and other European countries.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partnering with key global stakeholders to define the strategy to drive bulk business
  • Initiating, prioritizing, and leading initiatives to improve seller experience across all EU marketplaces as part of cross-functional teams (global Amazon Business tech and non-tech teams, account management, global 3P teams)
  • Defining clear business requirements to build new EU tools for third party sellers to help them grow their bulk business.
  • Conceptualizing new ideas and writing PRFAQs for leadership, articulating the Customer/Seller Experience.
  • Creating goals and related metrics, tracking progress and managing through obstacles to achieve your objectives
  • Running complex data analysis to generate business and customer insights for decision making
  • Owning and participating in executive reviews, responding to escalations, and driving follow through on issues identified.
  • Communicating complex findings and ideas clearly to stakeholders through strong critical thinking and an aptitude for problem-solving.

About the team

Your interactions and relationships will span a broad group of stakeholders, functions, and regions. You will be an authoritative voice from 3P and be considered a go-to subject matter expert by senior stakeholders and other team members. You will lead thinking around seller experience issues for EU 3P sellers and B2B customers, and contribute to shaping the global bulk strategy and roadmaps, drawing on your strong curiosity. You will also spend time thinking and articulating the next big ideas to step-change B2B bulk business for 3P sellers, influencing the central tech teams to fund these big ideas.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, statistics, economics, business and/or relevant field of study
  • 6+ years of Product Management, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or Consulting roles that have included quantitative analysis
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including an ability to communicate with cross functional teams (technical and business)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities
  • Aptitude for organization, flexibility and producing results in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Ability to operate in a matrix environment, collaborate with various stakeholders in different locales and functions effectively and manage competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in E-Commerce
