The Chief of Staff – Office of the CEO is a senior strategic leader responsible for amplifying the CEO’s effectiveness by acting as a force multiplier—driving execution of strategic priorities, streamlining decision-making processes, and ensuring cross-functional alignment across the organization. As a core member of the Office of the CEO, this role combines strategic planning, program management, and organizational leadership. The Chief of Staff will lead complex initiatives, manage governance and operating cadences, and serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team.
This role requires a high degree of discretion, analytical depth, and executive presence, as well as the ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
a.Translate the CEO’s strategic vision into clear, actionable roadmaps and initiatives across the organization.
b.Lead strategic planning cycles, establish OKRs, and track progress on company-wide goals.
c.Identify key priorities, ensure alignment, and mobilize teams around execution plans.
2. Executive Decision Support
a.Drive CEO-level decision-making processes by coordinating inputs from internal stakeholders and surfacing critical issues and trade-offs.
b.Build decision frameworks and present options and recommendations in structured formats.
c.Manage preparation and follow-through for executive meetings, board reviews, and offsites.
3. Program & Project Oversight
a.Own delivery of high-priority, cross-functional initiatives, often working across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR.
b.Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes; drive issue resolution where needed.
c.Serve as the CEO’s delegate in internal forums or negotiations, ensuring continuity of leadership presence.
4. Governance & Operating Cadence
a.Design and manage internal governance mechanisms—including executive meeting cadences, strategic reviews, and reporting rhythms.
b.Ensure the CEO is well-prepared, briefed, and focused on the most critical decisions and priorities.
5. Organizational Alignment & Communication
a.Act as a cross-functional integrator, connecting teams and driving alignment on strategic initiatives and key programs.
b.Partner with Communications and HR teams to support organizational messaging and internal alignment on CEO priorities.
c.Facilitate internal knowledge sharing and foster a high-trust, high-performance culture across leadership layers.
