We’re looking for our next National Sales Manager, Distribution - Deposits. Could It Be You?

Reporting to the Head of 3rd Party Distribution, the National Sales Manager, Distribution - Deposit (NSMDD) is responsible for supporting the existing GIC business at CTC in developing relationships with deposit brokers and achieving stated goals and objectives in support of the Business Development department. This role will be responsible for successfully contributing to the overall GIC portfolio growth and maximizing profitability in an entrepreneurial environment focused on service and operational excellence. In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with GIC brokers, dealers, investment advisors and commercial relationships, acting as the main point of contact and providing exceptional service and support.
  • Business Growth: Proactively seek and develop opportunities to grow CTC GIC deposit base through targeted outreach and value propositions.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, GIC broker activity, and competitor offerings to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Communication and Training: Conduct presentations and training sessions to equip brokers with the knowledge and tools to effectively promote company offerings.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key metrics, including engagement, pipeline growth, and broker feedback to assess success and areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (treasury, operations, marketing, product) to provide seamless support to brokers and advocate for their needs within the organization.
  • Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events to raise visibility and expand the network of potential broker partners.
  • Adhere to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with company’s policies and procedures

  • Have 10+ years related deposit experience, with knowledge of market trends and competitor activity
  • Have a post-secondary education
  • Have proven ability to identify and capitalize on business growth opportunities and exceed sales targets
  • Have solid understanding of deposit types and their risk factors
  • Have working knowledge of Google Workspace and internet research tools
  • Have superior interpersonal, relationship building, and communication skills
  • Have the ability to track and analyze performance metrics and balance problem-solving and decision-making while meeting targets
  • Are self-motivated, positive, and a creative team player with the highest level of integrity

  • Please note this role will be required to be in office 3 days a week
