Scania is transforming from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values – customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste – are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.
Imagine a Lego kit: are you the kind of person who is satisfied after finishing a Lego model according to the instructions or the person who rebuilds it afterwards in new ways?
We, at Customized Trucks, use Scania’s modularity to create new and innovative solutions for our customers: we use the “Lego” as much as we can and, sometimes, we need to modify the “Lego bricks” to make them fit together.
The S-order Design section (ESM) at Scania Brand Identity is responsible for the development of special vehicles in a great number of areas: from alternative fuels and electrification to specialized applications such as mining, heavy haulage, and fire trucks. Everything we do starts with a direct customer request.
In your role as a group manager, you will lead and support your employees to ensure they succeed in their tasks.
Utilise the organization's formal development framework to assess the individual development needs of the team. Plan and implement actions to enhance their capabilities. Offer training or coaching to others across the organization in your area of expertise to help them improve performance and realise their potential.
Besides leading various teams, you will be a member of the ESM management team, where your experience and skills will be vital in collaborating with other managers and team leaders to develop the section. ESM is a dynamic and active section comprising over 75 colleagues, and your contributions will enhance and improve our work.
