Essential Job Functions/Duties – General Overview:

  • Must be able to execute administrative duties assigned by HR Supervisor including but not limited to creating and typing of forms, maintain spreadsheets, filing, answering phones, and organizing responsibilities.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate (speaking and written) with team members, supervisors, managers, and visitors in BOTH English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to answer incoming calls regarding application status and post-interview inquiries.
  • Must be able to work efficiently despite frequent interruptions.
  • Responsible for weekly new hire and transition Orientation.
  • Must be able to multi-task and set priorities.
  • Must proactively seek the opportunity to help fellow team members, as well as opportunities to improve processes.
  • Must be dependable.
  • Enter contract and Peco new hires into UKG and UltraTime.
  • Participate in Recognition activities, as well as attend weekly team member appreciation meals or other events.
  • Ensure compliance with Company rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Must embody the Peco-Sebastopol values: Safety, Teamwork, Mutual Respect, Accountability, and Honesty
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Orientation:

  • Verify attendees, issue/revise badge numbers. Enroll biometrics in timeclocks.
  • Communicate instructions for paperwork; review/close out paperwork.
  • Coordinate Alchemy orientation videos & verbally review information.
  • Manage similar process with badge numbers, paperwork, & training for transition orientation (contract to full-time).

  • Update/maintain accuracy in Plant Roster, UltraTime, and UKG.
  • Enter, close out, & do any necessary follow-up on I-9s.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of the workday at a computer.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Repetitive use of hands.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb steps.
  • Must be comfortable working in organic conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in BOTH English and Spanish.
  • Highly proficient computer skills with emphasis on Excel.
  • Experience in a demanding environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
  • Previous Human Resources experience, manufacturing experience, and/or high school diploma or GED preferred.
