Job Overview

The Program Assistant will work with Teaching and Learning to provide implementation, record keeping, clerical, and administrative support for the programs. The work encompasses a range of office activities, including producing program materials, preparing and communicating program information, and working with other LCPS offices to coordinate program support.

Roles and Responsibilities

The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; work may differ and other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate.

  • Assists in supporting the admissions process for the Academies of Loudoun.
  • Assists with program record keeping, including maintaining records in Phoenix SIS.
  • Assists with data collection and reporting for program evaluation.
  • Produces program documents using Google and Microsoft tools.
  • Participates in event planning and competition coordination.

Qualifications

Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.

Education

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • None Required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with Oracle ERP
  • Experience with Google products and tools, and Microsoft Office products including Excel
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Phoenix SIS
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to perform the required work quickly, and accurately and to work cooperatively with others
  • Bilingual Spanish, preferred
