The position owner identifies key promotional spots and tailors marketing mechanisms to the specific needs and possibilities of digital customers. The candidate is responsible for the development of customized marketing promotional opportunities and the adaptation of existing concepts on the capabilities of individual platforms. She/he strategically promotes Digital HD and transactional VOD with creative and innovative promotions that target internet consumers thus broadening.

Contribute to strategic planning for digital customers
  • Generation of annual customer strategies together with Digital KAM  and Head of Digital KAM
  • Participation at strategic customer meetings and workshops
  • Presentation of strategic marketing approaches at customer
  • Creation of a rolling 6 month activity calendar per customer and alignment with customer (in conjunction with Head of Digital KAM and Digital KAM)
  • Adapt RM strategy in alignment with Fox brand strategy and customer strategy
  • Identify customer specific marketing mechanisms such as on store, social media, magazines, TV and online media, CRM etc.
  • Analysis of efficiency of marketing mechanism through relevant market data
  • Secure permanent presence in customer campaigns
  • Collaborate with Digital KAM and Head of Digital KAM to develop and execute strategic marketing activities/promotions in line with overall HE marketing strategies 
Product-/Operations-/Customer Management
  • Create catalog and new release thematic promotions and campaigns in line with physical HE approach to attachments and campaigns
  • Create and implement promotional plans including grass-roots initiatives, retailer programs, and partnerships with physical product (especially with hybrid customer)
  • Develop title specific trade materials in line with physical HE title positioning and marketing approach
  • Develop and manage local client promotion approvals including all elements such as online marketing, radio campaigns, direct mail, and creative artwork and messaging
  • Facilitate the sourcing of local language promotional materials
  • Review and approve client marketing campaignsLiaise with several internal divisions within the Company (Brand Marketing, retail Marketing, Operations, Finance/Commercial Planning, Sales)
Market Research (Supporting Head of Digital KAM)
  • Analyze competitive release dates and pricing models, digital media/home entertainment market trends with local team’s market research resources
  • Support and drive understanding of the current and future consumer and media landscape
  • Provide regular VOD/EST business updates and reports to local and home office
  • Contribute to VOD/EST market research and data analysis and spearhead research initiatives as needed with local team’s market research resources

Planning, creation and execution of retailer specific activities for FNR, catalogue and TV

  • Creation and execution of ret spec promotion mechanics like multibuys, softbundles, add ons, pre-order mechanics
  • Customer Activation: Develop mechanics to increase both avidity and penetration of digital buyers (e.g. driving customers from other digital categories such as Books, Music, Apps to usage of digital movies)
  • Creation and execution of ret spec theatrical cooperation. Relating to that coordination of activities between theatrical and customer
  • Sourcing of customer competition prize materials
  • Planning of special budgets
  • Creation and execution of CRM activities like customer screenings, incentives, customer events
  • Planning, booking and creation of retailer‘s own communication tools
  • Input to planning, booking and creation of consumer communication tools for customer like TV campaign, radio campaign, print campaign,
  • Integration of customer in Fox media campaigns, align with Fox marketing
  • Briefing of promotion and graphic agencies
  • Align with customer agencies
  • Champion customer software front-ends to track and alter title information (e.g. iTunes connect, Telekom Partner Lounge)
  • Managing the annual retail marketing budget on digital customer and title level



  • Bachelors degree or equivalent is preferred
  • MBA a plus
  • Transactional marketing experience in a digital consumer product or home video environment.  Digital media environment is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of digital media, its technological requirements, and the competitive distribution environment in international markets
  • The candidate should have an understanding of the development in the business (digital media products) and experience with the managing of the interests of various stakeholders (matrix) and with complex reporting structures and various relationships, clients, stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize successfully
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to facilitate successful interaction across multiple divisions and a wide variety of corporate entities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical thinking and good numeracy is required
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Highly Desirable

  • Considerable PPV/ VOD/ EST experience in the international arena is preferred
