National Sales Finance Manager - Convenience / Drug Channel



About the Role:
Position that aims to be the Business Partner for the OpCo Channel Sales; ensuring effective business decision making, through good understanding of the commercial processes. Supporting HUSA Commercial Marketing (CM) and National Sales (NS)  Convenience  teams in developing  execution plans and facilitating retailer planning; Monitoring plan execution and ensuring clear insights to risks and opportunities to allow for timely risk mitigation actions

Increase shareholder value for HEINEKEN by setting and supporting delivery of challenging OpCo financial and non-financial targets in the area of Sales within an effective and robust financial control environment

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the development of the Channel Sales Finance Function by working closely with Regional Sales Business Control, Sales FP&A, and other Business Control teams, Reporting & Accounting and other Functions
• Foster a culture of fact based decision making and cost consciousness throughout the organization.
• Maximize business performance by working closely alongside, supporting, challenging and influencing the Channel Sales Team.
• Integrated Business Planning
                - Assist Commercial Marketing and National Sales Convenience/Drug  channel / account leadership with business situation analysis; Prepare for IBP by understanding performance and identifying growth opportunities
                - Work with Commercial Marketing and National Sales Convenience channel/account leadership team to gain alignment on annual plan
                - Facilitate the development of the Execution Plan in light of corporate “activity plan”/ performance ambitions: Define key input KPIs (display, distribution, feature, pricing) in light of ROI
• Partner Business Planning (External Planning with retails)
                - Leverage Integrated Business Planning to support Commercial Marketing and National Sales Convenience/Drug channel/ accounts joint business planning on time in full
                - Ensure compliance with Finance systems and processes
                - Work with Sales Finance to drive integration of Convenience/Drug Channel and account execution plans into Regional Field Sales plans
• Performance Management
                 - Support Commercial Marketing and National Sales Convenience/Drug  channel performance review process
                - Assess Commercial Marketing and National Sales Convenience/Drug channel gaps against plan; prioritize key issues
                - Engage with Convenience channel and account leadership to find insight on performance gaps versus plan and create action plans to mitigate risks/capitalize on opportunities
                - Support Strategic Finance Team as needed to provide insight to company level performance gaps driven by Convenience/Drug channel account’s execution 
• Ensure the proper execution of business controls as identified in the Key Control Framework.
• Oversee elements of Channel Sales budget

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
• Analytical / Finance Bachelor Degree (e.g Economics, Finance, Natural Science)
• Minimum of 3 years of business analytics experience:  Consumer Goods  experience with focus on Insights, Category Development or Sales Finance required
• Strong communicator, Knows how to translate analysis into business insight
• Ability to influence cross functional teams
• Collaborative and process driven, able to work easily with different backgrounds
