12 Hour Continuous Schedule

The Thermal Technician operates equipment, follows daily production plans, performs basic maintenance, and ensures quality and safety standards. The role focuses on producing catalyst carriers, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and adhering to safety regulations. The technician will communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions and meet production goals.

• Operate and monitor the kiln, load/unload materials, and maintain records.
• Execute production plans, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Perform process and quality checks, maintain records, and follow safety procedures.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Participate in WCM activities like KPI reporting and problem-solving.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations.

Is this job for you ?

• High School Diploma
• 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic understanding of kiln operations and safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Be able to understand and balance all three factors that impact overall equipment effectiveness (OEE - Availability, Quality and Yield).
• Must perform intermediate math operations, including use of decimals, fractions and S.I. units, Unit of Measure conversions
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Effective Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Pushing /Pulling/Lifting Requirements 50 LBS
