SUMMARY OF POSITION:
A successful Clinical Development and Implementation Specialist (CDIS) at Penn State Health Virtual LLC thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment where each day brings new opportunities to shape the future of virtual care. This individual plays a pivotal role in leading cross-functional initiatives, from launching virtual health products to training clinical teams and clients across the health system and partner sites. They serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring seamless implementation and early adoption of virtual care programs by identifying and resolving barriers to success. With a strong foundation in communication, leadership, and process improvement, the CDIS balances strategic thinking with hands-on support—managing multiple concurrent implementations, facilitating training sessions, mentoring peers, and leveraging KPIs to drive impactful outcomes. Their work is essential to optimizing patient experiences and expanding access to care through innovative virtual health solutions.
The clinical development and implementation specialist (CDIS) – Penn State Health Virtual LLC will focus on prioritizing virtual clinical projects, identifying and resolving problems with virtual implementation along with providing related training for both the virtual team and client. The CDIS will work closely with multiple functions and teams across the organization to drive real impact and outcomes. They will function as a trusted advisor driving early adoption, training, and implementation of the programs.
