As part of this transformation journey the global payroll team are initiating a payroll standardisation and consolidation program starting with India to harmonize payroll processes, ways of working and streamlined vendor solutions ahead of integration to Workday.

What you'll be doing:

The APAC (India) Data Analyst will be responsible for the transformation of data between payroll systems and responsible for resolving data queries during the data extraction, transformation and load process and payroll parallel runs. The successful candidate will need to be aligned to the data transformation tools in use for the program or be capable of creating data flows in platforms such as Alteryx.

  • Reporting into the APAC (India) Data Lead the Data Analyst will be responsible for developing data transformation logic within Alteryx based on the data requirements of the new payroll system ready for data review and load into the new solution.
  • Responsible for identifying data gaps between requirements and source data files for transformation and migration.
  • Responsible for resolution of data queries during the data migration process and payroll parallel runs.
  • Responsible for development, updates and processing of all Alteryx Data flows including documentation of the Alteryx flow processes
  • Responsible for working with the APAC Data Lead and Business Analysts to create payroll data reporting requirements and adhoc data status reports
  • Responsible for resolving data queries highlighted from agencies during the data review process.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, or related field within the HR or Payroll space.
  • Strong understanding of data structures within payroll systems such as ADP, Alight, Ceridian, or others
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of ETL tools including Alteryx and Informatica
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
