Artificial intelligence and machine learning have rapidly risen to the forefront of technology discussions across every industry. So much so in fact, that the way intelligent applications are developed needs to fundamentally change to keep up. One of the most exciting areas in this space is deep learning, which involves the development of neural networks.
This is an opportunity to build a team focused on helping developers get started with deep learning in the cloud, building relationships with open source communities, and help to chart the course for how AWS evolves to best serve deep learning use cases.
Here’s what year one is all about…
- Author and implement a developer-focused marketing plan that focuses on the growth of deep learning in the cloud. This involves working across several product teams, so you should be someone who enjoys building support around big goals.
- Develop bar-raising marketing campaigns that help developers and data scientists learn about and use deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Apache MXNet, and PyTorch.
- Own the messaging and positioning of deep learning on AWS to customers, and make it real with compelling content and programs that help customers understand how using the cloud for deep learning can deliver results fast and efficiently.
- Bring big, audacious ideas to the table that have the potential to materially impact the adoption and usage curves of deep learning on AWS.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting into the technology. It’s deeply important that you understand what you’re marketing, so terms like TensorFlow and MXNet shouldn’t be foreign to you. You’ll be working closely with product management and engineering leadership, and a background that includes some time in technical product management, sales engineering, or software development would add a lot of credibility.
