The Challenge

Partner Sales Managers (PSMs) are responsible for overseeing partner relations for a specified field sales team at Adobe. As an Adobe Partner Team Intern, you will engage (alongside the PSMs) with partners of all types & sizes – including agencies, management consultancies, systems integrators, cloud service providers, and technology partners – to drive collaborative efforts with Adobe’s direct sales team. Leveraging Enablement, Marketing, and the full Adobe ecosystem, you will learn how to build go-to-market activities for your assigned territory and how to best serve as a trusted advisor and liaison between the sales team and the partner ecosystem. Partner Sales Managers have the goal of increasing client & partner mindshare of Adobe in an effort to 1) drive net new opportunity creation and 2) accelerate existing deal cycles. Collectively at Adobe, we are hyper-focused on one overarching mission: changing the world through digital experiences. We help clients through their digital transformation journey and enable them to compete in the modern era on the basis of experience! This is a great entry level opportunity for someone who’s interested in a career in partner sales or in strategic alliances.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct introductory calls with each Partner Sales Manager (PSM) to understand their aligned territory and partners they cover.
  • Take a data-driven approach and work to identify incumbent partners in all “non-partner” Solution Led opportunities. Once identified, reach out to the aligned PSM to validate the partner footprint, their capabilities, & to align the teams. Once alignment is established and there is a value exchange, work with the corresponding PSM to ensure that the partner is tagged in the CRM system.
  • Review all SS3+ open Solution Led pipeline within the quarter. Work with the aligned PSM, AE, and BDR to ensure all deals have an implementation strategy in place and the client understands the total cost of ownership.
  • Support the Partner Hub Associates in the qualification of partner-created opportunities generated by the long-tail of partners in our ecosystem. Help to enable Partners on Adobe Deal Registration processes and best practices. Learn how to guide the Partners on how to build Adobe capability and successful partnership with Adobe.
  • By the end of the summer, create and present the “Adobe enablement pitch” to the full team.
  • Work with the Partner Leadership team to build reports on key partner performance metrics.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a MBA degree, graduating between December 2024 and June 2025
  • Ability to participate in a full time internship between May - September 2024
  • Outstanding record of academic achievement
  • Good sales acumen and understanding on how to leverage partners for successful outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal.
  • You thrive on challenges and have and can succeed in a complex client acquisition driven business, preferably in the mid-market or enterprise space.
  • You have a passion for getting things done in an ambiguous environment, enjoy working hard, are full of energy for challenges, and seize opportunities more than others.
