As a member of the Platform Organization for the Moscow office responsibilities will consist of a wide variety of tasks, ranging from day-to-day support over close interaction with all departments on dedicated project work within the office to being part of the Incident Response Team for the office.
You will be working with both the Development community and the Trading floor users themselves as well as other infrastructure teams based in London including Networking, Voice, Windows System Administration, Information Security and Engineering. Opportunities to grow one’s business, and technical skills abound in this fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The following list is a subset of tasks and is not fully comprehensive

  • Day-to-day support (including Supporting of Administrators on New Joiner/ Transfers)
  • Coordination of hardware break fix
  • Providing Video Conference services support
  • Providing Mobile and PDA support
  • Providing end user training for Global Apps
  • Assistance for network related tasks, including patching, fault tracking
  • Supporting AppDev teams as solution provider for tech requirements
  • Project participation and execution
  • Documentation (internally and externally)


  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, be confident, reliable and be able to perform under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and adapt, take on responsibility and ownership
  • Broad technical understanding with some specialist skills in System Administrators related areas (Windows, Hardware, Server architecture)


  • Language Skills: Fluent in English & Russian both oral and written
  • Proficiency in using Windows\Linux and Apple operating systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency witovisioning and troubleshooting different desktop hardware, including monitors and Cisco voice products
  • Exposure to basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Monitoring & managing a ticket queue
  • Receiving equipment from leavers
  • A confident and clear telephone manner
  • Comfortable dealing with people at all levels within an organization
  • Ability to prioritize your own time whilst working independently or as part of a team
  • Strong ability to remain focused under pressure
  • Good documentation skills
  • Ensure KPIs are met on a monthly basis


  • Experience managing setup of multimedia events including video conferences 
  • Experience of Citrix or VMware 
  • Experience of Linux 
  • Experience supporting, setting up and encryption of laptops 
  • Demonstrated client service focus and ability to build relationships across different levels, functions, and regions 
  • Highly organized, attention to detail and end to end task ownership 
  • Experience on a Service Desk or Helpdesk is preferred
  • Results oriented - ability to balance multiple, projects and tasks
