What You Will Achieve

Your strong communication skills will come in play when you convey supervisors' instructions and production schedules in accomplishing a variety of tasks, such as meeting quality, accountability, security, productivity and safety requirements. You will ensure that all activities are completed based on Standard Operating Procedures, batch records, Current Good Manufacturing Practices and plant procedures.

As a Team leader, you will be involved in overseeing work teams within a division. You will lead the technical resources of the team. Thanks to your technical skills, you will coach your direct reports on day to day activities. You will be relied on to solve complex problems within your area of expertise.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities within a team.
  • Responsible for effective leadership of team which includes managing the daily operation ensuring that applicable safety guidelines and policies are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with all government and company regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in equipment failure investigations to determine root causes and propose solutions, process operational improvements.
  • Assure appropriate communication and implementation of corrective/preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Prepare and review the procedures and conduct system reviews.
  • Responsible for counseling colleagues to assure proper development for their success, and to provide corrective action when necessary.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Applicant must have High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with eight years of relevant experience;
  • OR an Associate's degree with six years of experience;
  • OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of experience;
  • OR a Master’s degree with more than one year of experience.
  • Ability to manage, organize, problem solve and manage multiple priorities in a fast pace environment, while exercising leadership, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills, coordinating and working with all levels of Colleagues.
  • Able to successfully manage production per accuracy parameters, controlling damaged product while meeting customer service goals.
  • Working knowledge and experience with SAP or equivalent inventory management software.
  • Proficient with using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Must possess basic math skills, strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills (oral and in written form

Nice-to-Have

  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Leadership experience with 10+ direct reports

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Stand up to 10-12 hours per shift, twist at waist 20 times per hour, regularly lift up to 35 pounds per activity 20 times per shift, occasionally lift a maximum of 50 pounds per activity 10 times per shift, occasionally may lift over 50 pounds with assistance, walk, climb stairs, climb ladders/walk on catwalks, repetitive use of upper extremities.

Use computer terminal 2 hours per shift, respond to visual warning indicators, respond to audible indicators, respond to color or special visual indicators, work around moving equipment, work on knees occasionally, wear specialized protective clothing, wear PPE (safety shoes/glasses/etc), work in hot or cold environment, work in hearing conservation area.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Rotating 12 hour night shift (2-2-3) schedule

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,700.00 to $126,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
