WHAT WILL I BE DOING? In your role as a QA Specialist, you will be part of our success by:
Ensures compliance with all quality management programs and food safety systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) in support of the plant’s Quality Assurance Program.
Develops and maintains plant sanitation programs, procedures and frequency schedules with a focus on continuous improvement.
Oversees clean-up activities of equipment and facilities in all production areasImplement process control on a regular basis.
Responsible for physical inspection of plant and equipment to evaluate sanitation effectiveness, conducts post sanitation swabbing, data and microbiological trending, ensures reporting is up to date.
Creates and maintains all food safety, quality records/reports including all CAPA reports and lead document review process
Perform regular inventories of sanitation chemicals and non-chemical supplies.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn, to succeed in this position and to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
The candidate should be a B.Sc Microbiologist / Bachelor in Food technology with minimum 5 years of experience in quality function of a food industry
Must have an exposure to Quality Management systems like HACCP and FSSC
Experience in controlling/implementing/maintaining Plant sanitation activities
