Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will manage the day-to-day activities of Accounts Receivable staff, ensure that the company's policy and procedures are understood and followed to have the department achieved the compliance and goals targeted.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of all Accounts Receivable employees
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of policies and procedures to meet the Accounts Receivable department goals and objectives, insuring it’s in compliance with ISO.
  • Assure timely collection of cash due to corporation.
  • Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards.
  • Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly
  • Assure that the companies standard template regarding invoice sample is in place for every customer
  • Conduct credit checks on all customer, establish and manage limits
  • Make recommendations to improve quality of collection procedures.
  • Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct performance evaluation for direct reports
  • Recommend hiring, firing and promotion
  • Identify and resolve personnel issues
  • Ongoing coaching and mentoring of staff to develop skills to the highest level

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Several years’ experience in credit and collections
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred but not required
  • 03 or more years of leadership experience preferred

ENVIRONMENT:

100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel will be (up to __ %) required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
