Make your mark for patients

We are looking for an Artwork & Packaging Technologist Expert to join our Devices, Artwork and Packaging Department, based in our UCB campus located in Braine-l'Alleud.

You will be responsible for the initial technical assessment of the change request and the impact on the artworks as well as technical right-first-time artworks for UCB global packaging operations. The position will cover all artworks for all printed components of the Global Commercial Products of the artwork process, starting with the change requirement and ending with the implementation in production of the new version of the printed component

Who you’ll work with

The role reports to the Head of Artwork & Packaging Operations and you will work closely with packaging and regulatory teams.

What you’ll do

  • Evaluate of change controls, performing technical assessments
  • Manage technical review of artworks of complex cases
  • Maintain the technical data base, ensuring that the technical instructions are implemented correctly on the AW
  • Manage the technical AW-changes
  • Define the metadata mandatory in AMS/SAP for the TI fields
  • Stakeholder management for the Packaging operations day-to-day activities
  • Ensure the necessary user guides and/or associated instructions are available reflecting the Artwork & Packaging technology operations activities
  • Training and on the job mentoring for newcomers and/or temporary staff supporting Artwork & Packaging & Artwork technology operations activities

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Graphic Design
  • Experience in artwork packaging, previous pharma experience is beneficial
  • Knowledge of SAP, or experience of artwork/masterdata management.
