In Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions.

BAE Systems is seeking a Test Equipment Software Development Engineer.

The applicant should have a strong background in ‘C’ code software development for PC based test and measurement applications and recent experience.

Demonstrated ability in the following areas is a big plus:

  • Experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and deploying large, complex LabWindows CVI applications (10,000 Lines of code or more)
  • Experience with Multi-threaded ANSI ‘C’ (LabWindows CVI), test applications
  • Experience with high performance data acquisition and control applications
  • Experience with Software Version Control methods and systems
  • Experience with various communication protocols such as Ethernet TCP/IP, Telnet, RS-485, HotLink, IEEE-488, USB, etc.

Background in Electrical Engineering with a practical knowledge of Electronic Hardware used in Test Applications such as Oscilloscopes, Multi-Meters, Network Analyzers, Lasers etc.

Ability to accurately estimate and deliver the effort required to complete a software project on-time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 4-year Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required (BSEE, BSCS)
  • 2 years work experience writing PC Test and Measurement applications in either ANSI C (National Instruments CVI) or C++

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Additional experience in C# programming

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
