Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Position Summary

This position will implement global product marketing strategies leading to new and exciting product launches focused on developing unique specialty-focused solutions in the Interventional Oncology space. This role will involve collaborating with the product leadership (Commercial and Strategic) well as associated activities to support key product franchises within our portfolio. These key activities include:

  • Assist with developing marketing and strategic input for the interventional portfolio 
  • Collaborate in business cases for future product portfolio and new market opportunities.
  • Fuel innovation – identify gaps, unmet clinical needs, recommend new products, new markets, and strategies 
  • Collaborate and align with marketing team and cross-functional team members to ensure future development plans will deliver overall revenue and profit objectives.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Explore, identify, and recommend new products, markets, and strategies
  • Participate in cross-geographic and cross-functional team(s) for new product development
  • Contribute to strategic investment planning
  • Understand the market trends, size and competitive landscape
  • Propose new and impactful claims to drive growth in competitive markets
  • Learn cardiology and interventional radiology procedures and gain exposure to key decision makers, clinical needs and market opportunities
  • Product Life Cycle management
  • Collaborate and interface with Key Relationships while leveraging best practices to set Franchises up for successful product launches. 
  • Be the advocate for international market development at the business unit level
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and leverage relationship with KOLs for regional voice of customer (VOC) and new idea generation.
  • Contribute to comprehensive market research and generate compelling market insights based on market analysis, data, and feedback.
  • Utilize and expand market models
  • Identify unmet clinical needs
  • Develop action plans for product concept-to-commercialization 
  • Organize and conduct new product presentations and clinical evaluations with customers
  • Define, address and overcome new product related issues, including defining product specifications, operational factors, human factors, customer needs, regulatory and distribution hurdles, timelines, forecasts, value proposition and entry/ exit strategies
  • Perform all activities in compliance with the Teleflex Quality System.
  • Perform duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) 
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment from concept through commercialization
  • Strong desire to learn medical devices, their use environments, and audiences
  • Demonstrate leadership ability 
  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills 
  • Strong verbal and group presentation skills with solid interpersonal skills 
  • Analytical skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with high energy level
  • Results oriented with ability to drive projects to completion
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft office suite
  • High attention to detail

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Medical Device Experience
  • Marketing, Business, Biology, Project Management Certification, or Engineering Degree
  • 1 -2 years previous experience in a Product Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Project Management, or customer facing role
