Job Description
As a member of the User Experience Research Team, you will contribute to Fidelity’s future growth by understanding people and their needs. Your research will inform and inspire our business and design leaders to improve current offerings and develop new products that help people achieve their financial goals. You will plan and conduct various types of qualitative and quantitative customer research, identify problems from the user’s point of view, develop insights and opportunity areas, and test new ideas for product-market fit. This role requires an experienced individual with proven ability to impact user outcomes and business strategy who will immerse themselves in a product area and independently drive projects to completion.
As a Principal UX Researcher, you will:
Fidelity follows standard product-development frameworks that put user needs at the center of all that we do. As a Principal UX Researcher, you’ll be part of a 70-person Research & Product Design Strategy community that identifies users’ unmet needs and guides Fidelity to build useful and usable digital products. Fidelity’s UXR leadership team is committed to coaching and advancing associates’ careers. UX Research is supported by a Research Ops team that manages recruitment, procurement, and project tracking.

We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
