Job Description:

Job Summary: The Manager Talent Programs will lead the strategic and tactical execution of employee engagement initiatives, including employee survey and after-action planning, employee events, performance management and succession planning. This role will be pivotal in helping leaders to foster a positive work environment, driving employee engagement, and ensuring robust talent management practices across the network. The Manager will work closely with HR leadership, HR Business Partners and department leaders to align talent programs with organizational goals, while overseeing the execution of these programs at a detailed level.

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

  1. Develops and implements comprehensive talent programs that support organizational goals and foster employee engagement.
  2. Partners with HR leadership to design and refine employee engagement strategies, ensuring alignment.
  3. Leverages data from employee engagement surveys (e.g. Gallup) to inform strategic decisions and improve organizational culture.
  4. Oversees the planning, execution and follow-up of the Employee Engagement Survey(s), ensuring high participation rates and meaningful data analysis.
  5. Leads action planning process and support HR Business Partners to help business leaders create impactful initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and performance.
  6. Monitors progress on engagement activities and adjust strategies as necessary to maintain a motivated and productive workforce.
  7. Manages the performance management process, ensuring that employees and managers are supported in setting goals, providing feedback, and evaluating performance.
  8. Leads the development and implementation of succession planning initiatives to ensure that high-potential employees are identified and prepared for future leadership roles.
  9. Collaborates with leaders to establish performance and development metrics that align with business objectives and support employee growth.
  10. Oversees the design and execution of network-wide events, including employee recognition, team-building activities and culture-building events.
  11. Manages event budgets, resources and timelines to ensure smooth execution from concept to completion.
  12. Evaluates event success through feedback and assessments to continuously improve the employee experience.
  13. Provides mentorship and guidance to direct reports to foster professional growth and development.
  14. Uses data from engagement surveys, employee reviews and succession planning metrics to create reports and presentations.
  15. Tracks and analyzes trends in engagement and performance, providing actionable insights for improving talent programs.
  16. Develops and maintains dashboards to monitor key performance indicators for all talent programs.
  17. Oversees the maintenance and administration of the Rewards and Recognition platform.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Leadership, Industrial Organizational Psychology or related field of study.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent management, employee engagement, or related HR functions to include: managing and developing teams, coaching and change management, and using employee engagement survey data to design and execute strategic plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Leadership, Industrial Psychology or related field of study.
  • Certification(s) in Engagement Surveys, Coaching and Change Management.
  • Experience in Healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
