The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Job Description:

  • Perform deep data analysis to find pattern of lost & damaged parcels
  • Use advanced query to play around with logistics data to detect fraud and operational inefficiencies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to close loopholes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and strategic teams to present data insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fraud detection.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, risk or consulting roles, and preferably within logistics, supply chain, or fraud detection industries.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel data modeling for analysis.
  • Additional advantage if you're experienced with Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with strategic teams and present data insights effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking capabilities.
