Job Description

We are currently seeking a strategic leader to drive new strategic services for PlowShare’s nonprofit and public sector clients. 

This person will have a mastery of social good campaign marketing and experience leading winning strategies and activating long-term strategic and executive level relationships. This leader will be a problem solver and great teammate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to hit the ground running with a solid reputation for building and cultivating strategic partnerships to support growth. An officer level position, the exact title will be commensurate with the chosen candidate’s level of experience.

This individual will work with the business development team to maximize market penetration for both new and existing clients. As new clients are onboarded, the leader will play an ongoing strategic consulting role with the senior clients while also expanding the strategic services provided to the client. This critical role will be responsible for developing client presentations and proposal content, both in business development and client work capacities.

Candidates should have 10+ years of relevant professional experience with at least 5 years of experience in the nonprofit and/or government sectors. The position may be remote or office based, depending upon the candidate’s preference and location. Travel to client or Publicis locations throughout the U.S. may be required when collaboration amongst agencies or client interaction is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strategic consulting/marketing services
  • Develops new strategic services and PlowShare offerings in collaboration with the PlowShare media team and other Publicis entities.
  • Develops and helps to deliver client presentations such as: addressing a client need with Publicis services, delivering a strategic POV, recapping marketing performance with recommendations for improvements or new opportunities, mapping customer journeys and opportunity areas
  • Builds a strategic services practice that generates new revenues for PlowShare. Grows and leads a strategy team over time.
  • Marketplace positioning and planning
  • Understands PlowShare and Publicis’ relevant services for the sector and our current marketplace positioning; makes recommendations to enhance the positioning and services we offer to clients
  • New business proposals and presentations
  • Works with BD team leaders in the government and nonprofit sectors to evaluate and complete proposals and presentations.
  • Leads teams in the content development of RFIs, RFPs, and client presentations
  • Client Onboarding, Servicing, and Organic Growth
  • Insures smooth client onboarding once new work is won
  • Serves as a strategic advisor and consultant with ongoing client work. Over time, it’s expected that this role will become partially billable to clients.
  • Becomes a trusted advisor to senior clients. Identifies client needs and proactively executes consultative selling techniques for organic client growth.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of growing revenue and building business for a marketing agency or consultancy.
  • Must have experience with social good campaign development and management
  • Ability to speak to all levels of prospective clients: strategic and tactical decision makers
  • Proven experience in the pitch/business development process
  • Best of the best writing and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with C-level marketing and development executives
  • Ability to reach across the cross-functional aisles and the various capability groups across the organization in order to drive more wins
  • Ability to understand macro business issues and articulate value generating opportunities supported by multiple Publicis brands and capabilities
  • Superior strategic thinker that can see the macro picture while also developing tactical recommendations

Compensation Range: $153,000 - $257,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
