The Role:

Phreesia is looking for a hunter and a closer with the drive to generate new client business opportunities using live meetings, telephone, email and JoinMe meeting.  The Sales Director will contribute to territory structure by leveraging the Sale Development and Agency Relationship Management teams to manage and maximize prospecting, agency participation and awareness and deliver client opportunities. This position requires excellent communication and project management skills to manage, build and diversify the account base.


  • Ability to identify, cultivate and convert prospects into clients
  • Engage in discovery conversations with the client to uncover new opportunities while also offering a compelling overview of our services and solutions
  • Work closely with the Sales Directors to coordinate and maximize prospecting activities and results 
  • Collaborate effectively to move qualified prospects through the sales process
  • Follow up on referrals to uncover net new opportunities
  • Maintain and upsell existing accounts
  • Providing top-notch customer service
  • Assist in the preparation and design of client presentations
  • Updating CRM database




  • Minimum of 1-3 direct selling into Pharmaceuticals with a proven track record
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Compelling and professional communications skills (verbal, written, telephone skills)
  • Incredible business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit to own their territory, business and clients
  • Successfully sold deals in the $750-$2.0MM range
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization
  • Experience selling marketing solutions is highly desired
  • Successful experience cold calling and building/developing relationships over the phone
  • Closing skills with a hunter mentality (“Ability to break barriers and win”).
  • High Energy, Self Motivated, Enthusiastic, Ambitious, Goal-Oriented, and Success Driven
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills
