Assistant Manager/Manager, Country HR&HRBP(004823)

Main Tasks:

HRBP

  • Support the implementation of HR solutions from the global/regional HR framework and, if applicable, bring in local perspectives and develop customized HR initiatives for the assigned site/unit.
  • Provide implementation support on organization design, restructuring and cultural change for the assigned site/unit in alignment with business leaders and HR leadership. Responsible for HR project management and related communication in the assigned area.
  • Facilitate site/unit's talent development based on business and operational needs, including related discussions (e.g. succession planning, talent review/forum), support unit’s candidate management. Discuss with site/unit leaders to identify training needs and, if applicable, demand for customized solutions.
  • Co-work with line managers and recruiters to fulfill recruitment requests in an effective and efficient approach. Handle exit interviews, analyze the employee separation reason and turnover statistics and provide useful information/data to improve employee retention. Facilitate and enable internal transfers, promotions and relocations etc., to serve business needs. Draft personnel announcements when needed.
  • Implement Global/Regional programs and initiate local programs in employee relationship, e.g., Employee Voices, employee communications etc., to enhance employee satisfaction and promote company culture.

COUNTRY HR OPERATIONS

  • Provide full employee life cycle HR operation services for assigned site/unit in coordination with Hub (Shared Service) team. (e.g. staffing & termination; employee movement; performance management support; overall C&B activities including monthly payroll, annual salary review; employee learning & development coordination etc.)
  • Ensure HR daily activities are fully in line with HR policies/frameworks and compliant with local laws and regulations.
  • Support annual manpower planning for the site/unit by providing local HR data. Confirm activation need with site/unit's local leaders and/or HRBP as applicable.
  • Perform site/unit specific HR analytics by analyzing relevant parameters (e.g. Recruiting KPIs/staffing situation, demographics, attrition…) and proactively identify issues, highlight implications and derive actions if needed. Provide data driven insights for site/unit management decisions.
  • Support the site/unit’s leadership team on performance management discussion/calibration and annual salary review. Foster employee engagement/motivation by promoting recognition in the site/unit in alignment with HRBP (based on regional framework or, if applicable, unit specific), and monitor effectiveness.
  • Co-work with Mobility and HR Shared Service team to effectively handle the inbound and outbound delegations to ensure business continuity.
  • Support legal entity specific tasks as required by government.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement to enhance HR service and employee experience for the assigned site/unit.

Other ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in human resources or psychology is preferred;
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in HR full functions in MNC; familiar with China labor law/regulations;
  • Fluent in English, proficient MS Office applications;
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, set and execute work plans, effective communication and team collaboration spirits;
  • Strong business affinity and acumen, experience working with senior management and ability to operate and influence with impact in a matrix environment;
  • Entrepreneurial and customer focus with strong drive to successfully steer HR solutions in the region.
