Oldcastle Infrastructure Inc. (OII) is looking for a SAP Controlling Architect. He/She will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Controlling modules in a greenfield implementation environment of S4/Hana private cloud. The right candidate is able to architect and design a SAP solution and to follow a pragmatic hands-on approach to put it in place.

This position will report to the Manager SAP CoE and will work closely with the SAP functional and technical teams and the system integration partner in architecting, designing, implementing, and governing the SAP Controlling Landscape for a large business process transformation program involving an S/4 Hana and Salesforce CPQ implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage SAP Controlling implementation and assume responsibility for FI modules
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Work with SMEs and end-users to determine the functional requirements for the system within the SAP Finance & Controlling areas.
  • Configure CO modules in SAP to meet business requirements, facilitate design session workshops, prepare system functional specifications including customizations for RICEFW objects, review technical specifications, write test scripts, conduct unit and system integration testing, and become CO domain subject matter expert that supports the end solution through its lifecycle.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other systems analysts, business teams, and implementation partner resources.
  • Help establish the SAP COE by developing best practices, documentation in CO domain, and establishing benchmarks.
  • Support cutover activities, training, and post go live support.

Required Skills/Education

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO with focus on CO
  • 2+ full life cycle SAP S/4 Hana CO implementations, including greenfield implementations.
  • Thorough understanding of the latest S4/Hana CO and FI landscape
  • Should have a good understanding of configuration in FICO and Integration points with other modules SD, WM, PP, & MM.
  • Hands-on experience with implementing product costing, settlement, account assignment logic, overhead cost controlling, and other CO areas.
  • Familiar with FI responsibilities such as financial chart of accounts, journal entries, financial costing methods, material costs, labor costs, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, project costing, and general accounting functions.
  • Experience in Discrete/Repetitive manufacturing.
  • Experience in Make to Order, Make to Stock, Engineer to Order environments
  • Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior-level executives.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong business relationship management skills.
  • Excellent team-building, mentoring, and leadership abilities
  • A 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent discipline

Work and Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel (overnight) as required based on business needs up to 25%
  • Ability to drive up to 4 hours for onsite services and meetings.
  • Must pass the background check, alcohol, and drug testing.
  • The position may require work outside of normal business hours in response to critical incidents or business-impacting project deliverables.
  • Preferred work location: Oldcastle Infrastructure’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA or Remote in North Amercia
