Main responsibilities
Demand Management
- Review monthly demand forecast, validate demand with country and coordinate with regional team.
- Ensure supply demand balance.
- Focal point for demand and supply solution.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Drive the monthly site Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Process by organizing relevant data, updating KPI's and facilitation of the monthly meetings.
- Negotiation in S&OP meeting with target groups.
- Review the regional supply plan for Raw Materials, OMP, and tolling products.
- Fine tune the replenishment plan, review stock point and safety stock level, propose stock keeping to business unit to optimize service level and business growth.
- Review the rough-cut production plan for regional OMP & tolling production. Optimize capacity available to drive for full utilization, propose production plan product mix to optimize under and over asset utilization.
- Communicate with regional planner and service platform to integrate the master schedule into the distribution plan in line with supply chain strategies and policies.
- Responsible for shortage management for both merchandises, regional OMP and tolling including internal communication with different groups, allocation, and drive for fulfillment of allocation from supplying site to minimize business loss and pending backlog.
Inventory Management
- Manage inventory at target level including finish, import and tolling commercial products and raw materials.
- Define inventory target to guarantee service level while keeping overall balance between inventory level and service level.
- As a contact point for regional SCM for Inventory forecast.
- Optimize BU inventory profile including day inventory value, operative inventory value, aging stock through inventory report analysis.
Raw Material management
- Plan and schedule to purchase raw material volume and arrival date to fulfill production schedule planed.
- Manage replenishment order (PO) of raw materials for production, merchandise and tolling business.
- Manage 3rd party regional delicate procurement orders and coordinate with 3rd party service provider as well with warehouse colleague for receiving raw material.
Order arrangement
- Liaise with regional planner, Regional PM, Service platform and Local CSO on order allocation, supply chain issues and to expedite orders.
- Maximize Delivery in Full on Time performance in line with Business strategy.
- Need to evaluate, communicate with supplier and provide approval of loose pallet orders.
Supply chain support
- Be the service contact for any third party(internal/external) of the assigned responsibility area and ensure consistent processes to all parties. Also, contribute and undertake daily troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Support material availability check for sales pipeline.
- Supply Chain Support and Communication.
- Identify, evaluate, and optimize supply chain initiatives.
- Liaise with the Business Unit regarding impacts related to supply chain strategies and policies.
- Comply with all internal operative procedures (e.g. FRC) and ensure all related documents are adjusted and archived accordingly.
- To give valuable input to Supply Chain Head to improve overall performance on supply chain management.
Master data
- Maintain SAP master data related to logistical operations.
- Maintain PIR if first purchase from countries and maintain logistics cost in CSP component.
- SAP APO DP & SNP: Coordination DP and SNP BAM to set up and maintain master data.
Administration works for production site.
- Support for activity / audit that related to supply chain in EHS/Responsible Care, ISO 9001 & 14001 Management, EFfCI GMP, Halal and RSPO.
Project management
- Project support / coordination
- To support any assigned local/regional/global supply chain related projects and assignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or any related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in material management and supply/production planning role, chemical industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM module, SAP APO DP and SNP modules, MS software e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
- Project Management skills
- Knowledge of logistics and material flow.
- Good command of spoken and written communication skills in English and local language(s).
- Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability.
- Ability to coordinate across functions and locations to ensure successful outcomes.
- Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource management.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking, decision making skills, ability to initiate process improvement.
