Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

The Construction Manager is responsible for the complete Construction Scope in a Large & Complex HVDC project. The HVDC sites are in Germany as well as in Asia for the platform construction.
The position holder reports to the Regional Construction Leader.

Candidate requirements
Skills / Qualifications
An appropriate qualification in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of work experience would be advantageous but equivalent experience in construction execution and site management is also feasible.
Have appropriate health and safety experience, training and qualifications in line with international standards for roles of this nature to be able to identify and stop unsafe works.
Experience
Previous experience of undertaking the role of Project Manager/ Construction Manager on a large Substation Project.
Have previous experience in the installation of key elements of the project including, but not limited to the following:
