Operations Transformation Project Manager - Vice President

Are you passionate about driving transformation initiatives across the region? Then, this is your opportunity to join the Asia Pacific Transformation team under Securities Services Operations, assuming a key role in the successful delivery and execution of the operations strategy in the region. 

As an Operations Transformation Project Manager - Vice President within the Asia Pacific Transformation Team, you will work closely with a senior Transformation lead to define the strategy, develop execution plans and manage change programs across Product Development, Operations and Technology stakeholders. This team is part of the global team that is embarking on a strategically important, multi-year programme to improve operational scale and efficiency and drive improved margin and profitability for the lines of business. You will be a strong communicator with outstanding executive presentation skills, with the ability to bring people together and face off to colleagues at all levels of the organization. In this team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery and execution of the operations strategy in the region.

Job responsibilities: 

  • Drive regional transformation initiatives that are aligned to global strategic priorities and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop business case, operating models, solution design, implementation/execution plan and operational readiness
  • Collaborate with Technology, Product Development, and Client Service to build innovative and scalable solutions into Securities Services operational landscape
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and clients to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring that deliverables meet their needs and enhance overall client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the securities services domain to provide strategic insights and ensure J.P. Morgan's competitiveness

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • At least 8 years’ experience in financial services or a related industry sector such as professional services, or technology providers
  • Strong understanding of Securities Services, including fund asset management, settlement, custody, and corporate actions
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • A team player who is flexible and can maintain both a positive attitude and high level of performance in demanding/time-sensitive initiatives

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities: 

  • Experience in leading Lean Six Sigma/Process Automation initiatives in Securities Services highly preferred
