We are seeking individuals who possess a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of payroll processes, and the ability to navigate complex regulations. 

Currently we are looking for Business Analyst in our Financial Services and Risk Management team within EY Serbia, B&H and Montenegro, Business Consulting Department.

The Business Analyst (BA) ensures the proper collection and documentation of business requirements that can be understood by business and technology stakeholders (both internal and client-side) to improve the end-to-end business processes and systems by creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems, and identifying opportunities and solutions.

The BA also participates in user acceptance testing by creating test cases and executes tests to ensure the solution is aligned to the business requirements.

Position involves developing, defining, and documenting business requirements that describe the business needs and solution scope, and effective communication with IT and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with technical teams on business needs, development and testing
  • Develop work instructions for end user training.
  • Manage business process mapping, process re-engineering and gap analysis. Recommend opportunities for improving, consolidating and optimizing processes.
  • Responsible for writing functional specifications that can be used by developers to support the creation of technical designs and delivery of business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure business requirements are satisfied and ensure proper UAT documentation is produced (based on use cases and test requirements).
  • Provide project management support for small/medium size projects, being responsible for project planning and execution of work required, including issue management and status reporting

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience creating core BA deliverables (e.g., BRD, functional spec, test cases, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL (Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer or similar)
  • Familiarity with relational database models and best practices of data management
