Job Description

The Learning & Development (L&D) department at Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning that drives business impact, enhances team performance, and facilitates individual growth. Role Summary:

The Program Manager for Leadership Development plays a vital role in implementing our organization's leadership development initiatives. Working within the North America HR department, this position supports the Learning & Development (L&D) function. The Program Manager's primary responsibilities include facilitating and overseeing both internal and external Leadership Development Programs. Furthermore, this role collaborates closely with the Regional Learning Leader to create and deliver comprehensive training programs across all relevant areas within Veolia

Watertech. This position is essential for fostering leadership growth and enhancing organizational capabilities.

This role focuses on supporting the training and development needs of the North America regional workforce of ~4,000.

Key Characteristics 

  • 5+ years of experience designing and facilitating leadership development initiatives
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end Learning and Development programs, from needs assessment to evaluation
  • Experience in vendor management, including sourcing new learning opportunities and maintaining relationships with vendors
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing curriculum and courses focused on leadership skills, behavioral competencies, and professional growth
  • Proficient in implementing various learning methodologies, including blended learning, e-learning, and instructor-led training
  • Strong ability to align learning strategies with organizational goals and measure program effectiveness

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and facilitate Leadership Development Programs across multiple organizational levels, from high-potential individual contributors to senior leaders
  • Coordinate and execute various learning events, including virtual or face-to-face training sessions, summits, orientations, and presentations, both internally and in collaboration with external vendors
  • Instructional design and creation of leadership learning initiatives including creating of training materials, slides, flyers, and promotional materials
  • End to end learning administration including, sending calendar invitations, monitoring acceptances, sending reminder emails, collecting feedback
  • Conduct regular check-ins with program participants and their managers, providing coaching and support as needed to ensure program effectiveness
  • Manage and oversee the 360-degree feedback platform for all leadership development programs and offerings
  • Monitor program progress, including attendance tracking, diversity statistics, achievement of business goals and objectives, and project completion;
  • Evaluate program effectiveness for continuous improvement; including review of learning feedback forms, Net Promoter Scores (NPS), generate periodic reports to demonstrate return on investment (use of google suite) digital learning experience
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all learning activities within the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Update and manage content for the Manager Toolbox Kit via Articulate
  • Support and facilitate internal learning initiatives, including the delivery of various L&D classes and workshops
  • Manage and develop direct report

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong communication abilities, adept at engaging diverse stakeholders from entry-level to executive positions
  • Meticulous attention to detail in record-keeping and program execution
  • High level of emotional intelligence to understand and address participant needs effectively
  • Excellent time management skills for handling tight schedules and multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with L&D team, HR teams, and managers
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive program improvements
  • Superior organizational skills to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, with emphasis on leadership development
  • Proven knowledge of leadership theories, adult learning principles, and instructional design methodologies
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Project management experience, managing multiple initiatives simultaneously

Preferred:

  • Certification in learning and development (e.g., CPLP, ATD certifications)
  • Experience in a multinational or diverse organizational setting
  • Familiarity with emerging L&D technologies and trends
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Canva, and Articulate
