Nordic Corporate Account Manager for the Companion Animal Business Unit

The Companion Animal industry in the Nordics has been growing steadily in recent years driven by an increasing number of pets in the region, a rising demand for preventive care and a growing focus on pet health and wellness. This presents significant opportunities for Our Company's Animal Health, as our existing portfolio and product pipeline of veterinary products are well-suited to cater to those needs. With market and channel dynamics continuously evolving as well, we are looking to further strengthen our relationships with our Corporate Accounts e.g., Evidensia, Anicura and VetFamily and we are looking to fill the role of Nordic Corporate Account Manager. With Corporate Accounts being present throughout the Nordics, this role can be based in any of the four Nordic markets. The role reports to the Nordic Sales Manager.

The role and responsibilities

The Nordic Corporate Account Manager is responsible for driving and developing our already existing customer relationships, while identifying and cultivating new relationships as the Corporate Account landscape evolves. The Nordic Corporate Account Manager will be responsible for identifying mutual value-adding opportunities within each Corporate Account and developing and executing strategic plans and tactics in accordance with the overall strategy for the Business Unit. Plans and actions are developed in close collaboration with the Nordic Companion Animal Team including Sales, Marketing, Veterinary Managers and Operations in addition to Our Company's European Corporate Accounts Team.

The Nordic Corporate Account Manager oversees the business activities in the four Nordic markets with respect to the Corporate Accounts. You will analyze performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and follow up to meet agreed objectives and targets. In addition, the Nordic Corporate Account Manager will be responsible for the annual contract negotiations including data exchange, education and sales and marketing activities. You will primarily be interacting with the Corporate Accounts on country headquarter level to align and follow up on activity goals and sales expectations, but should expect to be involved on a Regional level as well via Our Company Corporate Accounts Team.

The Nordic Corporate Account Manager must have a strong focus on both sales and activity goals. You will work in a complex environment of multiple external and internal stakeholders and must be an excellent team player. You should expect to provide regular performance and insights analysis to local and Regional Senior Management. Prior experience from the veterinary industry or adjacent industries will be a clear advantage combined with a good understanding of the commercial conditions of the Companion Animal veterinary market.

Candidate profile

We are looking for a candidate who can ideally tick below boxes:

  • A university degree in business administration, economics, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience from the Animal Health sector is benefitial
  • Proven KAM or Sales experience
  • Strong commercial mindset and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Structured and data driven
  • Ambitious and performance driven
  • Personal drive and sense of urgency
  • Ability to navigate a complex internal and external environment
  • Team player with excellent people and communication skills 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
