The Principal Data Management Analyst will support various international programs in support of the war fighter. The submittal of quality and on-time contractual deliverables is key to the success of the program and to promote customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will use their keen sense of urgency, multi-tasking abilities and initiative to keep programs on schedule.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide change and data management support to assigned programs.
  • Work collaboratively to update daily/weekly status for program deliverables.
  • Assist in the creation of reports and metrics for program deliverables.
  • Support program data management tasks to include processing SDRLs and CDRLs in accordance with the program Configuration Management Plan and documented CM processes.
  • Maintain accurate Configuration & Data Management files and records.
  • Provide guidance to program personnel regarding best practices and make recommendations based on program specific requirements.
  • Review data delivery schedules with customer or program management
  • Aids in the development of the program CM Plan
  • Review and provide inputs to GATS standards
  • Work collaboratively to document, continuously improve and implement CM processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to less experienced Data Management Analysts
  • Review and understand contract documents
  • Lead program daily/weekly deliverable lookahead and status of deliverables
  • Track and archive SDRL/CDRL dispositions
  • Perform audits of CM records
  • Work flexible hours to support program needs.
  • This position isn't a remote position. Work must be performed in Sierra Vista

Experience & Education Requirements

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
  • Experience with SharePoint Platform
  • Typically, the ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree with 6 years of experience OR 10 years experience in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Applications PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, SharePoint and others.
  • Knowledge or familiarity of the industry standards: MIL-HDBK-61A, EIA -649C, ISO 9001, AS9100.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in change and data management.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of and familiarity with data management software applications.
  • Have confidence and be able to establish valuable relationships with others.
  • Must be able to prioritize key tasks and have a strong sense of ownership over your work.
  • Be active in seeking out ways to continuously improve yourself and gain new knowledge.
  • Execute an acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Organization and time management skills.

Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:

  • CMII Certification or awareness
  • SharePoint administration experience
  • EIA-649C Certification or awareness
  • Experience reading engineering drawings, production specifications, contract documents.
  • Technical Writing experience
  • Experience with international vendors/ Customer support
  • Knowledge of Defense Contracting Management Agency (DCMA) requirements

Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
