Purpose of role:
PMO staff are responsible for the support of planning and monitoring the delivery of projects to meet agreed deliverables, scheduled timeframes and allocated budgets.
This is primarily a non-client facing, -execution and support oriented role. For larger and complex projects, the Project Management Officer may also have client contact.
As Project Management Officer you form the connecting link in the current projects. You support project managers in all activities that occur. Within your team, the standards are monitored, best practices are maintained and planning and execution are provided. Your focus is on operational, reporting and administrative aspects.
