About the job

Red Hat is looking for an experienced Country Sales Leader to lead our sales team in Poland. In this role, you will manage a team of sales associates who sell innovative open source solutions to corporations, public sector and enterprises either directly or via our partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for business planning, sales coaching, forecasting, and sales fulfillment. You will work in a matrix organization in close collaboration with the Partner Ecosystem team, Solution Architects team, Marketing and other functions to achieve sales objectives for your territory. As a Country Sales Leader in Poland, you will be responsible for developing the local sales strategy in Poland in line with global and regional (CEE) strategic initiatives. You will work on achieving revenue goals and KPI-s by supporting your assigned team.

What you will do

  • Oversee the overall sales objectives, goals, and targets for Poland.
  • Recruit, develop, motivate, and lead the sales team in Poland.
  • Be accountable for overall sales strategy, coordination, and delivery, with a mandate to build and fulfill a customer-centric territory revenue plan aligned to the partner ecosystem.
  • Manage forecasting: own the forecasting process to achieve quotas.
  • Guide sales coordination across the country, ensuring required pipeline coverage, quality, and health to win new customers and grow our current accounts
  • Work with regional sales leaders and partner sales executives to select and align partners against your territory to achieve sales objectives with partners.
  • Assess partner and distributor capacity and capabilities and connect with the Ecosystem team on gaps and solutions to improve.
  • Connect regularly with Regional Sales Leadership to review sales progress, strategy, initiatives, forecast, support needed, and best practices.
  • Support partner sales executives (PSE) as needed in increasing connections between Red Hat sellers and partners, and partner to Partner to deliver solutions to end customers.
  • Collaborate with Red Hat Marketing, Technical Sales, Inside Sales, Ecosystem team, Renewals team and other internal stakeholders to develop respective strategies to support Poland and ensure engagement processes are optimized.
  • Meet with leadership peers at partners as needed to align on Poland strategy and delivery
  • Acts as an escalation point of contact for the sales team on any internal blockers that inhibits deal progression.

What you will bring

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Solid strategic planning skills and understanding of sales cycles.
  • Understanding the sales planning process and reporting needs of global organizations.
  • Solid understanding of customers and partners in Poland both in the public sector and in the commercial / enterprise area, including customers' business, industry trends, competitive landscape, and Red Hat differentiators and value proposition.
  • Ability to articulate the value of Red Hat’s solutions, differentiation, and the opportunity to customers and partners.
  • Ability to cultivate long-term relationships and develop advocates across customer and partner organizations.
  • Ability to represent the company on marketing events and in media.
  • Having a consultative mindset to engage C-suite decision makers, e.g. CIOs, CEOs, and CFOs in strategic business conversations.
  • Lead an effective sales management process for the team, including account planning and deal realization, performance assessment, follow-up, and closing
  • Guide a multi-product sales strategy to include Red Hat’s solutions in enterprise operating systems, virtualization, middleware, and cloud; build references based on customer satisfaction and solution sales in the marketplace
  • Embody Red Hat’s values of freedom, courage, commitment, and accountability
  • Ensure that all key performance indicators (KPIs) are met or exceeded
  • Have an active role in the CEE Management team
