We have customers who use our software to store trillions of rows of data, and to process hundreds of millions of rows per second. We are building the most intuitive, elegant data query engine in the world, and we are looking for strong a Account Executive to join the team.

Based in the US out of New York City. Interana is looking for a self-starting, responsible, mature, highly motivated Account Executive. The role will demand interaction with large scale enterprises at senior levels, as well as with technical staff within the Product organization and traditional IT organizations. Responsibilities include the ability to establish strong business relationships at the executive level, conducting sales presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account and successfully closing business for Interana. The successful candidate will have possess a strong business acumen, ability to build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast and close business and have strong interpersonal and presentational skills.

  • Manages and grows revenue within new and existing accounts to maximize customer value and achieve company's strategic objectives
  • Develops and maintains client relationships to ultimately drive adoption and growth
  • Develops and executes account strategy by collaborating with account team to deliver stronger, more relevant value
  • Cultivates customer relationships and ensures effective service delivery to accounts
  • Focuses on customer satisfaction, knows the customer's business and workflows, develops proper contact network within accounts
  • Responsible for accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Tracks customer activity in internal systems in order to execute on account strategy
  • Owns account relationship and drives overall customer satisfaction for assigned accounts
  • Works with Sales Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans
  • Converts prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition

5+ years of demonstrated successful Enterprise Software sales

Startup experience requiredData management experience
  • Business intelligence, Analytics, or Data warehousing experience
  • Working understanding of Virtualization, AWS, Azure, GCP, or other cloud platforms
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to coordinate Interana resources to execute a complex sales strategy
Solution sales experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving difficult issues
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate Interana’s value
