This is a fantastic opportunity for a Proven New Business Manager who has prior experience converting sales leads and growing existing customers to take their next sales career move and join our existing and expanding Business Development team. Do you want to join our driven sales team where you will get to work with some of the biggest and best brands in FMCG and partner with them to drive their New Product strategy? We are looking for a New Business Development Manager who will focus on driving Nielsen’s business growth across both new and existing clients; you will also play a pivotal role in contract renewals!


Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Account managing existing clients and up-selling new services
  • Generating new clients through new business hunter activities
  • Cross selling Nielsen services to existing FMCG Clients
  • Become an FMCG guru and advise our clients on the best product for their needs
  • Create simple and compelling proposals, pricing products and identifying how to convert these into sales
  • Managing the sales process through Salesforce on a day to day basis to build opportunities.
  • Actively contributing to elements of the business planning process
  • Understanding Nielsen’s key product offerings and collaborating with wider teams for warm leads.
  • Liaise with key stakeholder in our clients business and manage those relationships. Link them with the SME’s within Nielsen to ensure they have a best in class customer experience.


About you:


You will possess the following skills:


  • An Absolute must, that you have an understanding of our business and translate this into sales pitches
  • A Proven track record Account Management
  • A proven track record of generating New Business
  • A proven ability to generate business across a portfolio of Existing clients
  • Demonstrable Sales target achievements Ideally experience in BI or SaaS based solution sales
  • An understanding of the issues facing FMCG manufacturer and retailers
  • Ideally will have sold analytics or research-based solutions
