In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be responsible for leading all the cross-functional activities related to ICAP Installed-Base with a cross functional, global program and project teams according to the ICAP QMS and PRP/PDLM processes.

Leading global cross functional, multi-site program team including market and customer facing, product development, operations planning and execution, customer support planning and execution, finance planning and reporting and quality / regulatory planning and execution. Ensure adherence to business priorities, schedule and cost and employ best practices for all program and project elements. Scope includes regular/rigorous function by function reviews to assure synchronization, milestone achievements, adherence to business plans, schedules and costs.

As a project manager put special focus on all the project aspects, be in charge of the daily execution and delivery of all project & engineering deliverables required to support IB activities while applying SAFe and Agile methodologies.

You are responsible for

  • Serve as a central leadership and focal point for ICAP Installed-Base.
  • Build and lead cross–functional multi-sites Program and Project kernel team(s). These teams include all PMO related functions (market and product definition, development, operation, customer Support (installation, application and service), Finance and Quality / Regulatory.
  • Lead the team in the overall program planning and execution. Establish strong operating mechanisms to track progress, identify issues, overcome obstacles, and define recovery plans. Drive the execution of the entire Value Stream in the context of the Installed-Base releases
  • Present program & project status to management as required through periodic reports and formal program reviews.  Escalate issues to when required.
  • Oversee and Manage customer escalations with a well-defined process and transparency till resolution.
  • Synchronize with other programs to assure that IB program requirements are fulfilled in a balanced way
  • Drive collaboration with Product and Project Manager, Operations and Customer Support representatives, Quality and Regulatory personnel and other Program Managers to deploy and to continually improve the life cycle management process.
  • Deliver the project within schedule, scope, budget and quality within a SAFe® environment
  • Develop and maintain the Engineering “Project Plan” in the context of SAFe® planning (via planning events and ongoing planning)
  • Generation of an integrated project schedule that fits the overall Program Plan with proper risk management and mitigation plan
  • Formally monitor plan and integrated project schedule and constantly and clearly communicate plan and status with all relevant stakeholders
  • Manage in a process compliant way (audit-ready at any time) with a sense of urgency
  • Apply continuous process improvements. Be repeatable and agile.
  • Demonstrate leadership, professional behavior and global mindset and be a “role-model”. Be open and honest

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Relevant B.Sc. degree (Computer Science – an advantage). Advanced degree/MSc/MBA – an advantage
  • At least 12 years of professional experience which includes minimum 5 years of functional management/or project/program management experience in a global matrix multi-disciplinary environment, across multiple sites, and through the entire product lifecycle.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in medical device industry with good understating of development processes in medical regulated environment, business aspects and clinical domain.

    Experience in managing Product Installed-Base and customer escalations - advantage

  • Familiarity with SAFe® and Agile – advantage
  • Good influencing skills, conflict resolution, assertiveness and negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation skills for both internal and external stake holders including customer-facing.
  • Ability to manage several efforts simultaneously (multitasking)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluent English
  • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment
