Position Summary
The Department of Chemistry at Indiana University (https://www.chem.indiana.edu/) is seeking applications for a non-tenure track visiting lecturer position starting in the Fall of 2025. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field is required.
Basic Qualifications
Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level in courses ranging from general chemistry to upper-level courses in the candidate’s areas of disciplinary expertise. While candidates with expertise in all chemistry areas will be considered, we are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical biology. The candidate will teach 2-3 courses per semester with a total course commitment of five courses each academic year.

The cover letter may include a description of experiential knowledge that they feel is not conveyed in other parts of their application.
