This is a hybrid position working 3 days onsite, 2 remote in either our Warren, NJ or NYC office.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead in building portfolio management platforms to allow strategy creation, facilitate internal communication, track strategy execution, and create senior management reporting
  • Support ad-hoc requests by collecting additional data, researching on vendors, proposing data analytics methods/insights
  • Lead or co-lead development of senior management reporting to help driving business actions. It will include collaboration with data & analytics colleagues, prototyping actionable exhibits, and socializing to get business unit buy-in
  • Work closely with business unit leads to track progress of renewal, and to facilitate successful execution of underwriting strategy
  • Analyze global reinsurance portfolio, synthesize findings, and provide actionable insight into business metrics, issues, and other opportunities
  • Automate reporting and analyzing of the portfolio

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required
  • 5-10 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, SQL, GO, and/or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, API, Json, or equivalent.
  • Experience in insurance/reinsurance is preferred and is willing to learn new insurance/reinsurance concepts. Need to be adaptive to changes quickly and work efficiently
  • Advanced PC skills
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint are required
  • Power BI is preferred
  • Possess excellent analytical and presentation skills with an ability to quickly analyze and interpret data
  • Must be a self-starter and independent thinker with strong attention to details. A can-do mindset is a big plus. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with requirement to turnaround projects fast
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in all mediums, and operate effectively in a culture that promotes collaboration, execution, humility, thoughtfulness, and leadership

For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
