Position Purpose:

Seeking world-class talent to join the world’s leading distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts and value-added services operating 5,500+ locations and servicing more than 20,000 locations in the U.S and Canada. Specifically, this role will function as the Manager, Analytics – Digital Product, responsible for leading a team, analyzing the adoption, and performance of the various digital products that we launch, as part of our Digital & omni-channel experiences. Working with a highly talented team, you will play a key role to build and run one of the world’s largest automotive and industrial replacement parts operations.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital ecosystem, and they must possess a high level of ability to work closely with the Product & UX team to understand the different features and solutions that are being built, so we can measure their adoption & success.

They will lead and manage a team of analytics experts, that capture and analyze our digital and customer data to discover actionable insights for digital products, in an omni-channel retail environment, working with cross-functional partners.

He/she will lead and manage a team of analytics experts, that capture and analyze our digital and customer data to discover actionable insights for digital products, in an omni-channel retail environment, working with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts that is responsible for the mining, analysis, and interpretation of data to develop actionable insights for digital product roadmaps and deployment.
  • Be a trusted analytical business partner for Product Management, UX and other key stakeholders, who they can lean on to make informed data backed decisions for feature and product investments.
  • Present results, findings, and recommendations to various stakeholders including senior leadership across marketing, sales, product, and operations.
  • Build and implement a rigorous approach to analyzing the performance of key features and products (search, browse, design experiences for PDP, PLP, cart, etc.) – working from initial concept, development, UAT, deployment and in production.
  • Through rigorous test plans and measurements, communicate metrics to product owners and key stakeholders, with the goal of driving enhancements, prioritization, and roadmap alignment.
  • Maintains a strong pulse on industry digital and analytic trends.
  • Establish measurement frameworks for new features on the site and work with the Analytics development team to implement the data collection strategies via tagging. Develop scorecards and reports that assess the site/features performance and help the stakeholders in making strategic decisions.
  • Generate testing ideas and help with the co-ordination/implementation/evaluation of A/B tests on the website.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of existing digital data by continued monitoring and assessment of platform tags & tracking.
  • Lead and grow a team of Analysts, that is motivated and coached to make the team the best.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location:

  • GPC has two work locations to choose from, Duluth or Atlanta office.

Desired Qualifications & Experiences: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, economics or quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 8 years’ experience in online, eCommerce or Digital analytics, with experience with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics, A/B testing tools (Adobe Test/Target, Optimizely, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience leading, coaching and building teams.
  • Industry Experience: Retail, eCommerce, omni-channel, with either B2B or B2C customers
  • Proficiency in the Office Suite, data visualization tools. Knowledge of SQL and the importance of SQL in data manipulation.
  • Skill merging diverse data from different platforms, formats, and environments, and experience analyzing data from web, customer feedback, session replays, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with data warehouses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Extremely collaborative, while demonstrating and having a sense of urgency, self-starter mentality and accountability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
  • Works in highly team-oriented capacity partnering closely with business unit and functional teammates.
