Security Safety & Protection LEAD/ OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY & HEALTH (OSH) SPECIALIST
The Security Safety & Protection Lead/ Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Specialist collects data from various types of workplace environments, along with policy and procedures, and analyzes the data to ensure a safe working environment. The role includes the liaison, formulation, implementation, and supervision of safety policy and procedures, and programs in the workplace environment, including company events and other activities, to ensure the adherence to the Safety Standards set by ADP and/or in consonance to the Republic Act No. 11058 - an Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards and Providing Penalties for Violations Thereof.
Security Safety & Protection Lead/ Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Specialist shall lead and take point and performs the following duties:
The Security Safety & Protection Lead/ Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Specialist should possess the following certifications and eligibilities, including but not limited to the following:
Completed the 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health for SO2 Training, having the basic knowledge and skills on identifying safety, health, and environmental hazards; determining appropriate control measures, and developing and implementing OSH policies and programs.
Completed the (A)40-hour Loss Control Management plus 8-hour HIRAC Training, plus 2-hour Training of Trainers; (B)additional forty-eight (48) hours of advanced/specialized OSH training course relevant to the industry; (C)relevant experience in OSH for at least two (2) years, and other requirements as prescribed in the OSH standards.
General knowledge, skills and systematic procedures necessary on conducting accident investigation, in consonance to the Philippine OSH Standards.
Completed the (A)mandatory forty (40)-hour OSH training course applicable to the industry; and/or (B)additional Eighty (80) hours of advanced/specialized OSH training course relevant to the industry; (C)an aggregate of three hundred twenty (320) hours of OSH related training or experience; (D)an actual experience as SO3 for at least four (4) years, and other requirements as prescribed by the OSH standards. Additional training may be converted to years of experience where eighty (80) hours of training may equal to one (1) year of experience and vice versa.
Completed the 40-hour Fire Safety course of the fundamental knowledge and skills in fire and life safety standards in consonance to the Fire Code of the Philippines.
Basic ability to assess ergonomic risk factors in the workplace, and to apply basic ergonomic principles to manage identified risks and prevent occupational and work-related injuries and illness.
Training or experience in Executive Protection (EP) operation, to evaluating and planning complex situations, performing risk assessments, implementing mitigating strategies, and other necessary steps to keep VIP safe from any potential harm.
