The Senior Supply Chain Manager will own AB Operations’ Strategy and Planning for Japan (JP). They will be responsible for embedding B2B fulfillment requirements into Amazon’s JP fulfillment infrastructure. They will achieve this by developing robust, high confidence long-term strategic plans for new capabilities and fulfillment capacity required to serve B2B customer in JP. They will own aligning these requirements with leadership in JP across Amazon’s parcel network (Sort, Non-Sort, Vendor Fulfillment, Direct Fulfillment, Storage nodes, Sort Centers, Last Mile) and Heavy Bulky network (Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) Fulfillment Centers, AMXL Sort Centers and AMXL Delivery Stations). They will lead with Customer Obsession to understand B2B customers’ unique requirements, Think Big to design the world’s most efficient B2B ecommerce fulfillment network, and Deep Dive and financial acumen to develop detailed, high fidelity long-term Operations Strategy for JP. They will own Strategy and Planning to launch and scale a Pallet fulfillment network within Amazon’s JP fulfillment network, while driving continuous cost and delivery speed improvement for the parcel fulfillment networks.
