Facebook is seeking an experienced leader from the domains of Marketing or Media with demonstrated success in managing large businesses on a national and long-term scale. The India Agency Leader will manage the Facebook partner relationships in the country with Media and Creative agencies and will be responsible for scaling creative output and marketing solutions through the agency channel. They will manage and build a strategically focused / consultative team, supporting the selling of Facebook’s advertising solutions to large media agencies. They’ll lead a high-caliber team in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth. We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success, dealing with ambiguity, successfully managed teams and displays strong problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have management experience in Media agency as well as Brand Management/Creative Agency. This position reports to the Managing Director, India and works closely with local leadership.
  • Support aggressive adoption of Facebook solutions through media agency partners (top largest media and digital agencies in the country)
  • Drive mobile creative capability and delivery from leading creative agencies
  • Play the lead role in developing the holistic local business of the agency partner channel
  • Create and drive the joint capability plan with agencies that create best practice around the role of Facebook products in the communication mix Work cross-functionally with in-market teams, global teams, Business operations, platform, measurement and product marketing to optimize our sales vertical efforts
  • Consult with product marketing to help shape product development in support of partner needs
  • Guide the creation of persuasive narratives that demonstrate the value of Facebook to marketers in agency partner channels
  • Develop and implement best practices for partner and client interaction
  • Create and lead culture initiatives, such as onboarding/training and identify and establish ways for growing/maintaining a healthy organization.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years in marketing, media agencies, and sales/partnership experience with a significant proportion on leading scale organisations/teams
  • MBA Degree preferred
  • Deep experience in driving brand outcomes through media strategy and strong conceptual understanding of the synergistic role of media platforms
  • Leading a marketing organization to deploy the full mix of media and creative solutions will be an added advantage
  • Appreciation of the role of Digital platforms in influencing all aspects of marketing with a proven record of embracing the changing landscape
  • Strong ability to work with partners outside the organization and proven record of influencing outcomes by creating win-win solutions and holding partners accountable to the agreed plans
  • Strong people management experience with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated thoughtful risk taking, challenges status quo and confidently drives innovation and change for maximum impact on clients and the organisation
  • Able to prioritize and focus managers and team on the most impactful opportunities
  • Skilled storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to partners and brands
  • Exceptional communication skills and presentation sills with an emphasis on translating insights, product information and data in to client value
  • Ability to perform well in highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Established relationships with top makers at traditional agencies and companies
  • Demonstrated success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing clear performance measures, processes and systems.
