Salesforce is looking to hire a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the BT Virtual Collaboration team! This senior support role is accountable for virtual collaboration meeting tools (WebEx, Zoom, Teams) that enable our business to collaborate effectively between internal and external customers. The role is primarily responsible for the design review and implementation, support, administration (including vendor management), and life cycle management of services and underlying hardware. Qualified candidates must have significant collaboration tool experience in configuration, global and individual policy, provisioning/deprovisioning process (automation devops mindset). The candidate should drive continuous improvement and growth of the company through strong technical skills and experience in the industry. This individual will see projects through all stages - including defining requirements, drafting and presenting technical proposals, deploying, and maintaining the best solutions. A strong commitment to technical excellence and teamwork will be required, as this individual will be involved in decision making to influence and lead change within the Technology Services (TS) organization. This position may require some off-hours maintenance work.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical projects and take ownership of virtual collaboration meeting technologies. This includes working alongside architects, security, and other engineers to design a solution that aligns with company vision and growth including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Lead regional Audiovisual builds, retrofits and decommissioning projects.
  • Analyze, design, test, install, document, implement and support technologies in an enterprise environment.
  • Define and build SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to operate in the production environment (changes and upgrades).
  • Gather requirements, create and communicate scopes of work, quotes, change orders, documentation, and drive the service roadmap.
  • Consider and recommend new technology solutions for anticipated needs of business.
  • Prepare and maintain up to date documentation for customers detailing configuration of deployed solutions (features, security)
  • Lead problem resolution activities and root cause reviews and analysis. Ability to instruct/shadow other engineers in new solutions/technologies.
  • Ownership of the service and major incident management.
  • Develop high-level project timelines and resource estimates. Develop product refresh schedules. Consistently deliver on assignments.
  • Provide subject matter expert level training to client employees and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Agile framework.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience in a corporate IT, or AV integration environment
  • 2+ years experience in Python or other object-oriented program languages
  • 2+ years experience working out of Github
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with passionate attention to detail.
  • A desire and ease in establishing credibility with fellow engineers through mutually deep technical skill sets.
  • Excellent problem solving skills. Able to take complex tasks or problems and break it into smaller more manageable pieces. Works with vendors/integrators to resolve issues. Feels comfortable working with customers and gathering requirements
  • Strong persuasive skills and ability to influence decision making. Leverages strong relationships through team and across functions.
  • A related technical degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years Zoom, Webex Meetings, Teams, Google Meet management experience
  • 4+ years stakeholder engagement and management experience
  • 2+ years experience with cloud-hosting with Heroku, AWS, or GCP
  • 2+ years Slack application development experience
  • 2+ years of working experience with agile scrum methodology within Information Technology
