SWCA Environmental Consultants is expanding and looking for an experienced Biologist to join our team and embark on a fulfilling career at SWCA.
The ideal candidate will have previous consulting experience and a proven ability to produce high-quality deliverables, excellent organizational and analytical skills, strong writing proficiency, and a demonstrated aptitude with relating biological data to broader ecological, restoration, or management issues.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, environmental science, natural resource Management, or a related environmental sciences field required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in completing biological assessments/evaluations, habitat assessments, and/or federal permitting.
Knowledge of the fauna and flora of the Intermountain West and Great Basin region preferred.
Avian and wildlife experience preferred.
Prior experience with GIS software (ArcPad) and Trimble GPS units and ability to use technology for data collection.
