Global Product Manager, Insect Control Products (m/f/d)
In this role, you will drive the strategic management of several critical products in FMC’s Insect Control portfolio, integrating key areas such as product development, regulatory compliance, production, supply chain, and marketing. Your leadership will ensure successful commercialization and life-cycle management of customer-centric offerings.
You will collaborate closely with global, regional, and key country leadership, actively contributing to business planning and product innovation initiatives.
What you'll do with us:
- Act as the primary authority on all product-related matters, leveraging deep expertise in commercial, regulatory, supply chain, and development aspects.
- Lead a high-impact, cross-functional team to define and execute global product strategies in alignment with business objectives.
- Drive financial performance optimization and collaborate with regional marketing to shape effective pricing strategies.
- Engage in strategic third-party negotiations to enhance market access and business growth opportunities.
- Provide critical insights to key stakeholders on discovery targets, development initiatives, capacity planning, and product lifecycle management.
- Continuously assess the competitive landscape to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring long-term market leadership.
Your qualification & attributes:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA in marketing, business management, or agronomy with 8+ years of global/regional experience in crop protection.
- Proven ability to develop and execute long-term strategic and market plans.
- Strong financial acumen to balance costs, revenue, and cash flow for optimal profitability.
- Expertise in translating complex data into clear, impactful communication for diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of customer needs to develop compelling value propositions and drive profitable sales.
- Ability to assess competitive threats, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to make strategic business decisions.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
