What will you be doing!
- Reporting, investigating, assessing, interpreting and evaluating results, recognizing critical issues and taking appropriate action based on specialized expertise.
- Managing project plans associated with multiple, concurrent and/or critical large-scope/-complexity projects/programs.
- Managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of highly specialized/complex work procedures and policies utilizing innovative approaches.
- Executing cross-division innovation/improvement.
- Providing day-to-day oversight to staff to deliver results in line with the team’s goals.
- Ensuring quality of work performed.
- Participating in translating the department’s strategy into tactical plans for the team.
- Providing input into the performance of other team members.
- Managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of work procedures utilizing innovative approaches.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for:
- Education
- College or university education in a recognized science, applied science, social science, or related field.
- Alternatively, a mix of various courses, program certificates, or other forms of education, coursework, or training that can showcase the necessary baseline understanding, familiarization, and knowledge to help demonstrate skillsets related to role responsibilities.
- Certification in PowerBI software application.
- Project Management Professional certification.
- Experience
- Experience in the development of Health and Safety data analytics and interpretation of data with an understanding of the validation of data sources.
- Minimum 10 years experience working in Project Management and PMP.
- Knowledge of Implementing Management Areas including (Scope, Cost, Time, QA, Communications, Human Resources, Risk, Procurement, and Integration) to projects.
- Minimum 5 years experience in utilizing PowerBI software.
- 5-10 years working in a nuclear environment
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to collate, maintain and report on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) performance metrics, specifically incident/injury trends.
- Knowledge of applicable OSH/Industrial Hygiene regulatory/program requirements and practices.
- Advanced/expert knowledge of applications such as PowerBI, Devonway, Microsoft Suite, P6, Prism, and VSDS.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—written and oral—and a proven ability to maintain successful working relations at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work with large amounts of complex, highly specialized information.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Able to provide prompt, clear and concise guidance as required.
- Highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, punctual and dependable.
- Knowledge of statistics and key performance metrics would be an asset.
- Understanding of budgeting, estimating, cost control, and financial management principles.
- Skilled in facilitating discussions and meetings that promote open communication in identifying potential issues early and addressing them promptly.
- Security Clearance Eligibility Required
- Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”

Location:
