Overview

This position is responsible for the strategy and growth of sleep medicine programs and services throughout all Novant Health markets. Provide strategic planning oversight and partner with operational leadership for all sleep services throughout the Novant Health organization. Standardize quality indicators for sleep services. Promote sleep services through outreach, which will include provider education of sleep services available and criteria for appropriate sleep referrals. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the patient experience as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of resource allocation. Position will focus on care delivery across key settings including: acute care and outpatient.

Qualifications

Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field. Graduate Degree, preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two yrs sleep medicine experience, required.

Licensure/Certification: RRT-RCP or RPSGT, required.

Additional Skills (required): Has practical experience in the delivery of sleep medicine services. Demonstrates commitment to improving care for this patient population and expanding sleep services within Novant Health. Exhibits strong skills in interpersonal communication. Demonstrates skills in clinical quality improvement and resource management. Demonstrates strong leadership skills and develops and maintains skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives. Is an effective problem solver. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports. Ability to monitor quality control standards.

Additional Skills (preferred): Knowledge of sleep medicine (Medical group and acute care). HR management skills.
